Hi

A tree with a 24” diameter trunk was cut down after several assurances it would not be and without notice to the abutting land owner which is clearly against the law according to the Second Class Township code  Section 2325(a): Saving Trees and Shrubbery (a)....... "No tree having a trunk diameter in excess of six inches shall be removed without notice of the proposed removal having first been given to the abutting property owner. The township supervisors shall determine by resolution the form of notice to property owners."......

Ken Miller stated there was no resolution and the notice was an "X" on the tree.

Section 2325(d) states "Any person who violates the provisions of this section commits a summary offense." Summary=criminal.

Here is a link to Section 2325: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/LI/LI/US/HTM/1933/0/0069.023.025.000..HTM

Whether you care about trees or not, you should certainly be concerned about how Ken Miller repeatedly ignores the proper and legal ways to do things. This is just one of several questionable/illegal issues that came up in that video. To be continued.........

Best wishes
