Of course Ken Miller has been instructing the road crew to repair roads because clearly they have been out doing work. Many roads were damaged last winter, as they are every winter. The road crew was dispatched to dump "cold patch" on the roads that had literally turned to gravel in areas. Residents have told me that the damaged roads were not cleaned of loose debris, so the material never connected to a firm base. The material was never compressed with a roller, merely raked in place.   In the heat, the cold patch stays extremely sticky and should have been covered with a dry material to prevent the cold patch from sticking to tires. Since the cold patch was not applied properly, the cold patch is pulled out of the repair areas and onto cars and displaced to the sides of the roads. Here is an example of the repairs done to the roads.

This is Blackhorse Road.  The repairs are already needing repairs

Here, no repairs were made

Here weak pavement is decaying around the patch

Remember last year West Vincent spent $32,468 per mile on roads.  Upper Uwchlan spent $27,001 on roads.  West Pikeland spent only $5,862.  Where is your money going?

Best wishes
