Here's an interesting question. Where's the Trash Task Force report?
In 2011, David Brown/Kit Trolier ran on a campaign of doing an investigation into trash hauling. I wrote about it and it is on my website both 23 and 25 October 2011. Their survey located on his campaign page overwhelmingly had results that were against the Township controlling the trash service in any way.
The township minutes of September 26, 2011 state that the Board (of Supervisors) “has begun to consider a single hauler". In 2012 I wrote about this, with a snapshot of Supervisor Brown's survey, on 28 April. The Township minutes from the May 15, 2012 mention the advertising for people to volunteer for the trash task force. There were other dates I wrote about the Trash Task Force including 15, 19 and 20 August, 2012. Be sure to read my posts to refresh your memory on what was going on 2-3 years ago. Over two years ago, on September 27, 2012, the very first TTF meeting took place.
At the end of 2013 the TTF pretty much had completed it's research and started the process of compiling a report with it's findings and decision. And that is where it ends. 11 months later, there is still nothing. No report has been released to the public. Why not? Is there is a report? Where is it and what is the delay?
