1. Purchase of part of the Birchrunville Schoolhouse Property

Here is an article in the the Daily Local about the acquisition of the Birchrunville Schoolhouse (former West Vincent Township building). http://www.dailylocal.com/general-news/20140105/supervisors-eager-to-preserve-birchrunville-site

From the article: “There’s a limit to what a governing body can do to limit development on land,” Brown said.

Sadly, David Brown, now a 2 year veteran of the Board of Supervisors flagrantly ignores the fact that the Supervisors CHOSE the Zoning for the property and to NOT deed restrict it prior to the sale by the Township. This created the entire problem and ensuing chaos with the citizens of West Vincent. Re-read my e-mails dated 22 December 2013 and 1 January, 2013 to refresh how the entire story unfolded.

2. West Vincent Website hacked

I have been informed that not only has the West Vincent Website been hacked, there are warnings were coming up on FireFox and Explorer to not go to the site as it may contain viruses. Oops!

Even as I write the site is also a mess. Meetings and minutes are missing, unless you want 2011. At times, that won't even come up. A quick look at Safe Browsing by Google doesn't leave one overall confidence in the security protocol of the Township. Take a look at the attached screenshot. Looking at the report, the site has been a risk to computers for quite a while. I recommend that anyone that has been to the township website in the last 90 days and noticed something strange with their computer should check their anti-virus is up to date (you do have an anti-virus program installed on your computer?)  and I would suggest running an anti malware program.  Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is an excellent program for this, and free. For anti-virus both Avast! and AVG are very good, and free.  Above all don't (ever!) give out any credit card etc numbers in response to an email request, responsible companies will never ask this by way of an email.

Hopefully, by the time you read this, the site has been fixed.

3. Charity benefit for Ken Miller

Here's some interesting reading. http://chestercountyramblings.com/2014/01/13/great-balls-of-cheese/

Perhaps some of you might want to consider attending to help the finances of the Chairman of the Board and Roadmaster of West Vincent Township. His part time job as Roadmaster, 20 hours per week (undocumented) pays over $25,000 per year, plus he just received a 3% raise! In addition, he and his family get full health care on your dime, good for over $15000 per year. But his full time job is Farmer and cheese manufacturer.  He is the beneficiary of a charity to help his cheese making business (WHAT?!) by combining the operation from both his location for milk and the actual production facility at Kimberton Camphill Special School into one location, which is at his farm. That's right, Ken Miller's farm, here is a report on it from the EPA, yum!:  http://kenmillersepareport.blogspot.com

Best wishes
