I was recently (October 15) discussing, again, West Vincent's legal bills. You may remember I demonstrated a total of $80,496.15 up to October 15.

I viewed the most recent West Vincent meeting video http://www.westvincenttwp.org/images/all-videos/BOS%20Video%20102212.wmv and actually heard Jim Wendelgass state that my current legal figure calculations are wrong, and instead are around $72,000. Doubting myself, I reconfirmed the numbers for the NON-REIMBURSABLE legal fees and they are absolutely correct. I implore the readers to simply go to the minutes for the dates I listed and look at the Bills List.

When an audience member stated that West Vincent was then still $2000 over the Legal Budget, Wendelgass stated that wasn't true, either. The 2012 budget is on the Township website. The Legal Budget is clearly $70,000. Please read it. I linked to all of these documents in the prior e-mail. Here is the budget http://www.westvincenttwp.org/images/docs/2012-Approved-Budget-Revised.pdf see the top of page 13.  Does Jim Wendelgass, the West Vincent Township Manager truly believe his lies? These are HIS created documents, posted on the West Vincent Township website. I cannot alter their website. Jim Wendelgass' salary and benefits total over $130,000 per year (see the top of page 3 in the above link), and another 3% raise is on the way, starting January of 2013. Your tax money funds this type of dishonesty and the Supervisors either support it or have no idea of the finances in West Vincent township. Which is it?

While talking legal bills, on the www.electdavidbrown.org website (last year) it stated "Kit and David spent hours this summer looking over all the legal bills from 2010 and year to date 2011. We have some ideas how things could be done differently that should result in moderate cuts in the legal expenses. We plan to begin executing those ideas as soon as we take office. We will be looking deeper while in office at ways to continue to reduce those expenses........."  However, he later denied he said that.
(He has later closed the website down after he was caught contradicting his campaign statements on issues AFTER he was Supervisor.)

The site has now been taken down but I managed to find a screenshot, below.  And if you go to this video link http://westvincenttwp.org/images/all-videos/BOS-Video-052912.wmv and look at what was said between the 20:25 and 22:30 you'll find his denial. I'm sorry I can't send you to the minutes to read this, since, again, the minutes do not accurately reflect what was actually said.

What we have is a pattern of deception by the Supervisors and the newest one, David Brown is no different.
