Hi

Just a quick note today. Again I can't wait to see if West Vincent will tell it's residents so I've decided to publish this announcement right away. Hopefully, West Vincent will post the same thing on its web site so my non-subscribers will find out about this. Please share this information with anyone that you know may need it.

A Disaster Recovery Center will open in Chester County tomorrow (September 20) to assist victims of Hurricane Irene. The Center will open at 1pm and remain open until 7pm. Beginning Wednesday the Center will operate from 10am to 7pm, seven days a week. The Center will operate at the Chester County Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA. Residents and businesses impacted by Irene are encouraged to visit the center to find out about available Disaster Assistance.

HARRISBURG -- The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Pennsylvania
Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) will open a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in
Chester County on Tuesday to help residents and business owners with their recovery
from the recent storms and flooding. Representatives from the U.S. Small Business
Administration will be available to answer questions about low interest rate loans.

Hours: Tues. from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Beginning Wed. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.

Disaster officials recommend that you register before visiting a DRC so if you have
any questions about the application process they can be answered face to face. You
may visit any DRC regardless of where you live or work.

To register for assistance, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Disaster assistance applicants
who have a speech disability or hearing loss and use TTY should call 1-800-462-7585
directly. Or register at DisasterAssistance.gov; the screens will prompt you through
the registration process. You can also apply by web-enabled device at m.fema.gov.
For those who use 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS),

Call 1-800 621-3362. Operators assist callers seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
